Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Autone platform (“Service”) at autone.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Autone is an influencer marketing platform that helps businesses discover, match with, and manage outreach to social media influencers. The Service includes AI-powered influencer matching, program management, email outreach automation, and analytics.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Email Integration

When you connect your email account (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), you authorize Autone to:

• Send emails on your behalf to influencers as part of your programs
• Process replies received through our inbound email system
• Use AI to classify and draft responses to influencer communications

You are responsible for the content of emails sent through the platform and must comply with all applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.). You may disconnect your email account at any time, which immediately revokes our sending access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or misleading content through the platform
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or deceive any person
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service to send emails that violate CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other anti-spam regulations
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the email sending functionality

6. Subscription and Payments

The Service is offered on a monthly subscription (Starter $199/month, Growth $499/month, Scale $999/month; current prices are on our pricing page) with a 30-day free trial. How you are billed depends on how you connected your store:

• Merchants who installed the Autone app from the Shopify App Store are billed by Shopify through Shopify App Pricing. The subscription appears on your Shopify invoice. You upgrade, downgrade or cancel on the app's plan page in your Shopify admin, or by uninstalling the app. We do not charge you for the subscription outside Shopify's billing.
• Brands not on Shopify, or connected without the app, are billed monthly by Stripe. You may cancel at any time in Settings, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Creator payments are separate from the subscription and are not app charges. Every payment to a creator requires your explicit approval. The approved amount is funded from a card or bank account you add through Stripe and is paid to the creator at face value through Stripe or PayPal. Merchants billed through Shopify pay no processing fee on creator payments; brands billed through Stripe pay a 4% processing fee on top of the approved amount. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to research your brand, choose creators, write and send outreach from your connected inbox, classify replies and draft responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors.

How much the Service sends without asking is set by the autonomy level on your account. At the default level, every first message to a creator waits for your approval before it is sent. Once you have approved contacting a creator, the Service may continue that conversation on its own (replies and follow-ups that offer no fee and pass its copy checks), and every message it sends is recorded in that creator's conversation history. At the higher levels, which you choose to switch on, the Service also sends well-matched first outreach on its own within limits (match score, offer value and discount caps). You can review and change that level at any time in Settings, and you can pause the autopilot at any time. Creator payments always require your explicit approval, at every autonomy level. Because messages go out from your own connected inbox and under your brand's name, you remain responsible for the outreach the Service sends on your behalf, and you should set the autonomy level you are comfortable being accountable for.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Autone. You retain ownership of your program content, email templates, and business data. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Autone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
